January 24, 2013 (IR 7.10) - After having dealt with Blade Lord Ta'yak, the battalion decided to march
deeper into the
Heart of Fear. After following its corridors and moving up a large staircase they came upon
an open room where they encountered
Garalon, an insectoid of epic proportions.
While in awe by it's size, the champions did not retreat and gung-ho as they were, decided to attack the giant
monstrosity. The fight proved as hard as they expected and heavy blows were exchanged left and right. With
the Ryffies bruised and battered it seemed the fight would end anytime soon... until a weakness was found:
Garalon's legs. By quickly exploiting the weakness, the tables turned and eventually the near-impossible was
accomplished: Garalon was toppled.
